At Wee Folk Scotland we take your privacy seriously. By placing an order on this site you automatically agree to this privacy policy.

We only collect the personal information we need to fulfill your order. All personal data is stored securely. This information will never be shared with third parties. We will not use this information to contact you for any other reason other than to communicate with you about your Wee Folk order.

We may ask for photographs to assist in creating personalised orders. These photographs are stored securely and will be deleted approximately 90 days after  your order has been completed.

Cookies

As standard with most websites, this site uses cookies.  By using this site you agree that the information stored in the cookies can be used to personalise the experience when using a website and will store the information to, in a way, remember, when your computer or device visits this site.

Timelines

Orders are fulfilled chronologically. Approximate lead-time is four weeks but can alter throughout the year depending on how many other commissions are in the Wee Folk order books. The customer will be informed of the length of time to expect to receive goods before they place an order.

Order Process

To order, send a message through the Enquiry page. Wee Folk Scotland will email you with the current turnaround time and send you a link to the Wee Folk order form powered by incognito, a secure online system. Complete the form and return. Your order will then be confirmed. An email invoice will be sent to you at this stage for a £10 deposit. Your order will be fulfilled once deposit is paid.

Payment

Payment will be handled by a third party dedicated gateway izettle to guarantee your protection. At no point does Wee Folk Scotland view or store your card information. All credit card data is encrypted by HSM cryptographic servers according to the strictest standards to make sure sensitive information is never compromised. The customer will have seven days to make payment. Goods will be mailed out by first class post as soon as payment is received.

Cancellations

The customer is entitled to make a cancellation up to the point of deposit payment. After a deposit is made your order is considered ‘live’ and will be carried out as per request.

Returns

We hope you will be happy with your Wee Folk creation, however, if for any reason you are unhappy with your order we will be happy to discuss any amendments/alterations (at an additional cost to the customer).

Customised items are, by the very nature, bespoke to each customer specification and therefore are exempt from refunds unless they arrive in a damaged state.
